Rose-Rustman Arrested for OWI After Driving Off Road

On December 15, 2022 at approximately 10:40 P.M. Marshall County Central Dispatch received a phone call of a
vehicle that had driven off the road on US 31 in the area of 5A Rd. Marshall County Police responded to the scene.
Upon arrival, a deputy spoke with the driver of the vehicle, identified as Kenneth Rose-Rustman of South Bend, and
believed him to be under the influence of alcohol. The deputy conducted field sobriety tests and determined him to be
intoxicated. He was taken into custody and transported to the Marshall County Jail where he was booked and charged
with Operating a Motor Vehicle While Intoxicated with a BAC above .15, and for Operating a Motor Vehicle While
Intoxicated Endangerment.

Perdieu Jailed for OWI Following Accident

On Sunday December 18, 2022 at approximately 1:21 A.M. the Marshall County Sheriff’s Department
received a call in reference to a two-vehicle unknown collision on Michigan Rd. near the intersection of
18th Rd. Argos Police, County Deputies, and E.M.S. responded to the scene with it being observed
that a white 2014 Chevrolet Cruze had been traveling northbound on Michigan Rd. while a 2015 Ford
Edge was traveling southbound on Michigan Rd. with the two colliding. The driver of the Chevrolet
Cruze was later determined to be David L. Lowe of Akron while the driver of the Ford Edge was
determined to be Daniel L. Perdieu of Rochester. Both driver’s refused medical treatment and it was
discovered during the course of the investigation that Daniel was intoxicated. Daniel was arrested and
lodged in the Marshall County Jail for Operating While Intoxicated – Endangering and Operating While
Intoxicated – BAC at/above 0.15%.

Lee Arrested on Warrant and Drug Charges

On 12/13/2022 at approximately 12:15 p.m. a Marshall County Sheriff’s Department K-9 Deputy conducted a traffic
stop with a vehicle in the area of US 31 and 9A Road. The driver of the vehicle was identified as 34-year-old Jeremy
Lee of South Bend. Jeremy was found to be driving while suspended with a prior and had active warrants through
Marshall County and St. Joseph County. During the traffic stop, suspected cocaine and marijuana were located inside
the vehicle. Jeremy was transported to the Marshall County Jail where he was booked for possession of cocaine or a
narcotic drug less than 5 grams, driving while suspended – prior, possession of marijuana, and his active warrants.
